Supplied by Northfiche. Three lists in one volume - the 'Register of Names of Persons Entitled to Vote for the Borough of Newcastle upon Tyne 1832' followed by similar lists for 1834 and 1835, reproduced on one set of microfiche. Each list is divided into ten parts - the Freemen, the parish of All Saints, the parish of St Andrew, the townships of Byker, Heaton, Elswick and Jesmond, the parish of St John, the parish of St Nicholas and the township of Westgate. Each part gives the name of the voter, the 'Nature of Qualification' e.g. House, House and Shop, House and Yard etc, and the Address at which the property is situated. In the case of Freemen, the full name and place of his abode (often outside Newcastle) is given. The names are alphabetical within each of the ten parts of each list but there is no overall index. 1832 contains 3905 names, 1834 has 4054 and 1835 has 4572 names.
