This covers the 2 Rhondda valleys from Trehafod to Maerdy & Cymmer Rhondda to Treorchy taking in those parts of Gilfach Goch which come under Rhondda Urban district. It is produced in Adobe PDF making it suitable for both PC & Mac users.

The census is fully transcribed and is indexed by surname and piece & folio number. Once your ancestor has been identified in the index you can use the appropriate bookmarks to open up the as enumerated transcription and find them there.

Included on the CD is an index to the areas that each piece number covers which can be useful if you are not familiar with the area. It also makes searching a particular area easier too.

The CD is also fully searchable across all fields but you must have Acrobat Reader 5 or above installed on your computer to read & search the CD.

A copy of Acrobat Reader 5 is included on the CD. Earlier versions of acrobat may be used but the book marking facility may not appear.
