1920 Berkshire Directory (Kelly's)

The original, partially disbound, book used for scanning covers the counties of Berkshire Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

The total size is more than can be fitted on one CD so the three counties have been published on separate CDs. The Advertisements section of the original book has been included on all three publications.

There is a misprint on pages 323/4 (in the Private Residents section) as a result of a fault in the original printing. There is, however, sufficient information to cross-reference with other sections and identify the people affected.

Unusually, the county map & plan of Reading have survived though use over the years has resulted in tears/rucks, making scanning difficult.

The county map has been scanned as ten overlapping tiles. The plan of Reading has also been scanned separately. This publication comprises:

Some of the scanned pages appear not to be straight. This is a feature of the original book. Some page corners appear clipped. This is a result of having to angle the page to compensate for skewed print.
