Anguline Research Archives was founded in 2005 by Guy Etchells and Angela Petyt. It is an organisation dedicated to sourcing and scanning old and rare books onto CD for family historians, local historians and social historians. Producing a wide variety of printed sources containing records from the medieval period to the twentieth century - parish registers, school and college registers, wills, court rolls, directories, maps, topography, etc. Anguline Research Archives CDs both assist and inform the researcher.

Guy Etchells has been researching family history since the 1950s. He is well-known on genealogy forums and mailing lists where his knowledge and expertise has helped many people. He was also instrumental in gaining early access to the 1911 census.
Angela Petyt BA (Hons) has a degree in History and Language Studies. She worked in adult education for 10 years teaching family and local history courses. Formerly the youngest family history society chairman in England, she also served on the Executive Committee of the Federation of Family History Societies.
