Once a year, Parish Clerks would send copies of the Parish Records to the Bishop so that a copy was also held there. Many of these Bishop's Transcripts for Hampshire have been transcribed and are available here. As well as transcriptions from the Parish Registers, the baptisms, marriage and burials of your ancestors should put colour into your family history.
