During the Second World War, a fair number of churches were destroyed by German bombers. However, in many cases the Parish Registers survived. Whether from a lost church or one that has continued to thrive, the Parish Registers are being transcribed so that you may find your ancestors within the pages of their baptisms, marriages and burials.
