The Genealogical Society of Ireland is the nation’s premier publisher of genealogical material ranging from memorial inscriptions, census extracts, school registers and census substitutes to expertly researched articles on genealogy, heraldry, vexillology and social history.
Members of the Society, all volunteers, collect and sort the data for publication from a number of sources both local and international. Our overseas members contribute information and articles on the Irish Diaspora while Irish based members sift through our extensive archives to bring new research data to a wider readership through our publications.
