Each record is transcribed from the earliest date possible for the Parish concerned until no later than 1850. Transcriptions of many Worcestershire parish registers can be purchased here, and this small group of volunteers aim to make the material as widely available as possible to those researching their family history in the county.
The parish records contain details of baptisms, marriages and burials. If you are not entirely certain as to which parish your ancestors would have had links, a Parish Register Surname Summary will help.
Before buying the CD, a check of the probable parish for the surname of your ancestors will help you decide which one (or more!) to purchase. Once you have your Parish CD, you can also order a copy of the page in the Parish Register.
