This is one of the largest cemeteries in the Grimsby & Cleethorpes area. It includes the burial details of a large number of nonconformists, from all over North East Lincolnshire, which do not appear in the Church of England records.

Cleethorpes has always been a strong Methodist area. It contains details of over 30,000 burials.
