We publish a range of indexes to Kent Records and Civil Defence records created during the Napoleonic War. We are a team of family and local historians with many years research experience, and with special interests in South Kent and Romney Marsh.

Between 1791 and 1815 various measures were taken to defend Great Britain and Ireland against the threat of invasion by Napoleon Bonaparte. The implementation of these measures created pay lists of volunteer groups of men and other schedules of names with information of value to the family historian.

Transcriptions and indexes of some of these records are being compiled by Jennifer Killick.
