The Cave Family History Society has been in existence for 30 years. In that time it has developed from a small group of four descendants of, and from, the Cave family, to the latest membership number of 516. There are about 140 active members from all over the world. It was founded by Hugh Cave in 1976 and held the first meeting at Stanford Hall in 1977.
The society is open to all descendants of, and from the Cave family (and all its variants) throughout the world. Officers of the society form the nucleus of the management, but there is always room for more to join in the administration and assist in the collection of records and data.
