1st June 1837 - Horse Guards - Adjutant Generals Office.

These regulations and orders are applicable to all stations at which the troops may be serving.

The General Officers employed on the Staff and the Commanding Officers of Regiments are responsible that they be invariably adhered to in all the more detailed instructions which may be issued from time to time in local Commands, to Brigades, or Regiments, for the general maintenance of discipline, and for the arrangement of interior economy.
