The story of this community and their revival of the ‘Forget-me-Not Fund’ is an inspiration as to what people can do when faced with adversity. The community held whist drives, tournaments of various games and sports, children gave small concerts, beetle drives, shows of various types and donations from companies and individuals and the letters of thanks sent in return.
