A lovely book, an autobiography of Bernard Walke the priest of the Catholic church at St. Hilary, but more than that a look at the people and lives of West Penwith from the time of WW1 until the early 1930s. Many locals are mentioned by name.

Quite interesting look at the tinners at a time of great hardship when most of the mines lay dormant with thousands out of work.

This is a rare and quite expensive book, so the availability on CD is a very welcome opportunity to add it to your library for a fraction of the cost.
