The Elmbridge Collection 2007.

This CD covers the Records of the Hundred of Elmbridge and includes transcripts of the Parish Registers from nine parishes:-
Cobham,
Esher,
East & West Molesey,
Long Ditton,
Stoke D’Abernon,
Thames Ditton,
Walton on Thames,
Weybridge (Marriages to 1837; Baptisms to 1840 & Burials to 1860s - some indicating burial in places outside the area.) Also includes:-
(1) 1851 Census Indexes for eight of the nine parishes by Surname and Family Groups (Long Ditton is not included as it has been indexed by East Surrey FHS).
(2) 1861 Census Indexes for The Elmbridge area - including Long Ditton.
(3) Abstracts from old Wills (earliest dated 1484 though to C19th ) which make specific mention of people from the nine parishes (see above) plus Hersham, Claygate and Oxshott .
(4) Weybridge Service Roll (Feb 1915) and Rifle Club Roll of 1915
(5) Lists of names collected from World War Memorials in the Elmbridge Area
(6) Death Notices & Obituaries for 2003 extracted from The Surrey Herald
(7) A Profile of Elmbridge extracted from ‘Blacks Guide to Surrey’ of 1926
(8) Reproduction of a Chapter on The Elmbridge Hundred from Vol II of "The History of Surrey" (c.1890) by Brayley and Walford.
(9) Elmbridge Apprenticeships 1711-1731 extracted from SRS Volume 10
(10) A Collection of a few dozen mainly early 1900s Post Cards, with addresses and messages where present.
(11) Reproduction of a Kelly's 1934 Directory of Esher and District

(14) A Profile of Elmbridge extracted from the Official Guide to the Borough.
