Catholic Ancestors in the North-East of England

This booklet includes information on where to access Catholic records within the the dioceses of Hexham and Newcastle and of Middleborough and Catholic records held by Tyne and Wear Archives, Teesside Archives and Durham Records. The articles  were first written between 1979 and 2005. Some of the earlier articles may make reference to specific archives or record sets which were either not freely avaiable at the time or have changed location.
