The full title of this book is LOIDIS AND ELMETE or an attempt to illustrate the districts described in those words by Bede and supposed to embrace the lower portions of Airedale and Wharfedale, together with the entire vale of the Calder.

It was published in 1816 and is 17 inches high by 11 inches wide, is 2 inches thick and weighs 11 pounds.

This large book contains some 580 pages, including numerous detailed plates and 15 large pedigrees, along with lots of names, lists of vicars/rectors for the various parishes, etc.
