Itchen Stoke and Abbotstone Village Booklet - Print

The Itchen Stoke and Abbotstone Village Booklet VB064, is full of great references to families who lived and worked in the village of Itchen Stoke on the River Itchen and the village of Abbotstone, abandoned in the C16th. The river and it’s mills were an important part of the economy and this booklet references the surnames of people occupied in milling and other trades. The references to source material at the Hampshire Record Office is particularly useful.
