Memories of Southsea - Castle Road / Kings Road

This latest publication in the series covers the area of Southsea, specifically focussing on the areas of Kings Road, Castle Road and St. Pauls Road

Published in June 2016 this booklet has memories of the businesses and streets in the areas around the Kings Road area of Southsea. Featuring also Castle Road to the south and St Pauls Road to the north, it is based on the 1960s. The area was extensively bombed and then much of what was left was demolished in the later sixties so we have attempted to recall the area at this time of great change.
