Newport Pagnell Independent Chapel - Baptisms 1764-1842 [Download .PDF File]

The Independent Chapel at Newport Pagnell was founded in about 1660 by the Reverend John Gibbs.  From October 1764 its popularity received a boost under the auspices of William Bull as this volume containing a transcription of the baptisms 1764-1842 testifies.  Not only are there many entries from Newport Pagnell itself but there are also entries from the surrounding area including Gayhurst, Great Linford, Lathbury, Moulsoe, North Crawley, Sherington and Stoke Goldington.
