Newport Pagnell Independent Chapel - Marriages 1837-1885; Burials 1790-1837 & 1850-1859; Members 1709-1856

The Independent Chapel at Newport Pagnell was founded in about 1660 by the Reverend John Gibbs.  This volume contains a transcription of the marriage entries 1837-1885 (bride and groom only), the registers of burials 1790-1837 and 1850-1859, and lists of members 1709-1856.  The lists of members illustrate the popularity of this chapel, including individuals from both Newport Pagnell itself and the surrounding villages, and in many cases give information about where a member came from or was dismissed to.
