The ancient parish of Nuneaton includes the hamlets of Attleborough and Stockingford.
The town of Nuneaton is now the largest in Warwickshire. Close to Birmingham, Coventry and Hinckley, it quickly became a centre for ribbon weaving. Other industries associated with the town include coal mining, engineering, textiles and brick and tile works.
This booklet in PDF format looks at many aspects of the parish - the ancient administrative unit that governed life - which NNWFHS trusts will enable family historians to better understand the parish and the place in which their forebears may have lived or visited.
