Ropley Village Booklet - Print

Along with a useful map showing Ropley and its contiguous settlements, are descriptions of places of worship, past and present. Of particular interest are details of the non-conformist congregations.

This booklet contains the surnames of over fifty past inhabitants, from school master and inn keeper to landowner; while sources as diverse as Hearth Taxes, Enclosure Awards and Trade Directories are explored.
