The People of Chipping Norton - Volume One

This booklet contains a miscellany of records for the Oxfordshire parish of Chipping Norton and the hamlet of Over Norton which are situated about twenty miles north west of Oxford.  Amongst the records included are Poll Books of 1754 and 1826, Land Tax Assessment of 1790 (Over Norton), Poor Rate Assessment of 1776 (Over Norton), Poll for the post of Sexton 1744 and 1768, recipients of Edward Redrobe's charity 1722 to 1800 and the Absent Voters List for Spring 1920.
