Upton Grey Village Booklet - Print

The booklet contains the surnames of over fifty past residents, from school master and inn keeper to landowner; while sources as diverse as Hearth Taxes, Enclosure Awards and Trade Directories are explored. Whatever your connection with this fascinating village, this booklet will be a useful resource for all family historians. Along with a useful map showing Upton Grey and its contiguous settlements are descriptions of places of worship, past and present. Of particular interest are details on the non-conformist congregations.
