This booklet contains a transcription of the surviving birth and death registers relating to the Wellingborough Union together with a register of children boarded out to foster parents between 1902 and 1909.  The Wellingborough Poor Law Union was formed in 1835 and comprised the parishes of Bozeat, Earls Barton, Easton Maudit, Ecton, Finedon, Great Doddington, Great Harrowden, Grendon, Hardwick, Higham Ferrers, Irchester, Irthlingborough, Isham, Little Harrowden, Mears Ashby, Newton Bromswold, Orlingbury, Rushden, Strixton, Sywell, Wellingborough, Wilby and Wollaston [all Northamptonshire] and Farndish, Podington and Wymington [all Bedfordshire].  Higham Park [Northamptonshire] was added in 1862.
